PASS Study
The focus of the Pathways to Adolescent Success Study (PASS) is on anxiety and adolescent development to better understand how the brain, behavior, and lifestyle of adolescents with symptoms of anxiety develop over time. Our ultimate goal is to learn how to develop more effective treatments that are more personalized based on the brain, stress physiology, and social factors for individual adolescents. PASS is a longitudinal study with 3 visit waves.
To be eligible, the child must:
- Be between 12-14 years old
- Have some feelings of anxiety
- Not have metal implants inside the body or non-removable metal braces
- Not have used alcohol, tobacco, or marijuana more than 3 times
- Not have experienced a serious head injury
Compensation
$15 for the initial screening
Eligible youth participants are paid up to $150 per visit, for a total of $450 for the duration of the study.
Parents of youth will also be compensated $75 per visit, $225 total.
